Orlando Civil Litigation Attorney
Attorney Annie Blanc brings a diverse and well-rounded litigation background, with experience spanning from civil litigation, criminal law, and insurance defense to employment law and complex commercial crime matters. Her practice is grounded in strategic analysis, thorough investigation, and a client-centered approach focused on achieving meaningful and just outcomes.Prior to her current role, Annie served as a Litigation Associate Attorney, focusing on insurance defense matters involving automobile accidents. She also served as an attorney in the Employment Law Department of a plaintiff-side law firm. In that capacity, she handled cases involving employment discrimination, wage disputes, sexual harassment, and workplace retaliation in both state and federal court. Her experience also includes litigating premises liability cases and practicing dependency and criminal law matters, including misdemeanors, felonies, juvenile delinquency, and Marchman Act proceedings.
Annie also served as Claim Counsel within the Bond & Specialty Insurance Department of a national insurance corporation, where she investigated claims arising from complex commercial crime losses, including social engineering fraud, employee theft, forgery and alteration claims, computer crime, and funds transfer fraud. This role sharpened her ability to analyze intricate financial matters and assess liability in high-stakes disputes.Beyond her legal practice, Annie is deeply committed to leadership, service, and mentorship within the Central Florida legal community. She currently serves as President of the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association, and has also held leadership roles as Young Lawyers Director for the Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers and Diversity & Inclusion Chair for a voluntary bar association. Annie is a proud graduate of The Florida Bar's Wm. Reece Smith, Jr. Leadership Academy (Class XI) and an alumna of New Leaders Council Orlando.
As a first-generation Haitian-American attorney, Annie is passionate about mentorship and empowering others to overcome obstacles and pursue excellence.
