EquuSearch: Casey's Lawyers Never Came Seeking Documents

ORLANDO -- The search group that volunteered to look for Caylee Anthony has picked a fight in court.

Mark NeJame, representing Texas EquuSearch, said he opened his doors for the defense representing Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony, to come look through all the names of the organization's volunteers, but they never showed up to seek the documents.

Casey's lawyers alleged EquuSearch was holding back on releasing the list of people who searched in the area where 2-year-old Caylee's remains were later found in December 2008.

EquuSearch said should the defense want to question any other volunteers, there should be a private meeting with the judge, and he should decide.

A motion filed Friday by NeJame's law firm said Casey Anthony's defense "is unnecessarily wasting this Honorable Court's time, the taxpayer's money and the undersigned's resources by filing these frivolous motions."

The two sides head to court Monday morning at 10 a.m.
