Ludwig Kaiser’s Legal Trouble Grows, Battery Case Gets Serious

The legal case against WWE star Ludwig Kaiser has taken another step forward.

Court records show that a Notice of Appearance was filed on June 11, with attorney Darrin Chambers formally entering the case as legal counsel for the alleged victim. Chambers works at NeJame Law in Orlando, Florida, where he focuses on civil litigation and personal injury. He spent nearly six years defending insurance companies and also served as a Public Defender, giving him experience on both sides of the courtroom.

Chambers is also a US Navy veteran and was the Valedictorian of Barry University School of Law. His firm lists him as a trial-focused attorney who is known for being prepared and ready to take cases all the way to court if needed.

This update comes after another important development earlier this month. On June 1, Florida prosecutors gave Kaiser’s defense attorney, Thomas Sommerville, access to digital evidence in the case through an electronic link. That link remains active for 90 days, and prosecutors also flagged that some of the video files may contain location data that could disappear once the files are downloaded.

Kaiser is facing a misdemeanor battery charge tied to an alleged incident at his Orlando apartment complex earlier this year. He has already entered a not guilty plea and remains free on bond.

The next court date is a pre-trial conference set for July 16. If the case is not settled before then, a possible trial window runs from August 10 through August 28. Despite the ongoing legal situation, Kaiser remains active in WWE and is still appearing on AAA programming as scheduled.
