Meet the Team: Annie Blanc - Civil Litigation Attorney

Hi, I’m Annie Blanc, an attorney here at NeJame Law, and I bring a diverse litigation background shaped by years of work across civil litigation, criminal law, insurance defense, and, most importantly, employment law matters. My approach to every case is grounded in strategic analysis, thorough investigation, and a commitment to understanding each client’s unique needs. Before joining NeJame Law, I worked as a Litigation Associate, focusing on insurance defense, handling automobile accident claims, and a broad range of civil disputes. Prior to that, I practiced employment law, where my passion truly lies. I have represented clients facing various wrongful termination claims including, but not limited to, employment discrimination, wage disputes, sexual harassment, and workplace retaliation, in both state and federal court. Earlier in my career, I litigated premises liability cases and handled dependency and criminal law matters—including misdemeanors, felonies, juvenile delinquency, and Marchman Act proceedings. That is where I learned the important of client advocacy and being the best attorney that I could be for my clients. My experience also includes investigating complex commercial crime losses, such as social engineering fraud, employee theft, forgery and alteration, computer crime, and funds transfer fraud. That role sharpened my ability to untangle intricate financial issues and evaluate liability in high‑stakes environments. Beyond my casework, I’m deeply committed to leadership and service in the Central Florida legal community. I currently serve as President of the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association, a role that allows me to advocate for and support African American legal professionals across the region. Over the years, I’ve also served as the Young Lawyers Director for the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and Diversity & Inclusion Chair for the Orange County Bar Association, I’m a proud graduate of The Florida Bar’s Wm. Reece Smith, Jr. Leadership Academy, Class XI, and an alumna of New Leaders Council Orlando. As a first‑generation Haitian‑American attorney, mentorship is extremely important to me. I run my own mentorship initiatives to empower young professionals to overcome obstacles and pursue excellence. That commitment—to advocacy, to justice, and to community—is what guides my work every single day. At NeJame Law, my mission is simple: to bring skill, resilience, and dedication to every case, and to make a meaningful impact for my clients and the community I serve. Big enough to win and small enough to care is not just a motto…it’s our mission.
