Meet the Team: Criminal Defense Attorney Cesar Neira

Hi, I'm Cesar Neira, and I'm a trial attorney here at NeJame Law. I'm a first generation Ecuadorian-American, fluent in both English and Spanish, and a past President of the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida. As a trial attorney here at NeJame Law, I dedicate my time in fighting for fairness, justice, and results on behalf of my clients.My passion has always been rooted in helping others, especially those facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives. I began my legal career in the 13th Judicial Circuit Public Defender's Office, where I represented people who could not afford an attorney. As a PD, I handled hundreds of criminal cases, ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies, and developed a strong reputation as a fierce advocate and battling no matter the odds.In 2021, I returned home to Central Florida and joined the State Attorney's Office as a prosecutor, advocating for victims. I worked closely with law enforcement agencies in that capacity, reviewed investigations, evaluating cases to ensure that justice was served, whether it meant pursuing formal charges or dismissing based on lack of evidence.During my time there, I quickly rose through the ranks and became one of the more senior prosecutors and was involved in the handling of a multitude of various cases in every role. Whether defending, prosecuting, or now working in private practice, I've sharpened my trial skills and deepened my commitment to justice.Now at NeJame Law, I use everything I've learned to help individuals and families who need strong, honest, and experienced legal help. I handle a wide range of cases, ranging from DUIs, drug charges, robbery, battery cases, and homicides, and I bring that experience into every courtroom and every client meeting.At the end of the day, I'm here to fight for you.
